The boys are now three and a half years old. I haven’t done a post about twins for a while, so I thought it was about time I told you about why life has got infinitely easier as they’ve got older. Here are the things I’m loving about them at the moment… Continue reading
Walkers Hoops and Crosses sponsored review
This week we’ve tried out the new Walkers Hoops and Crosses crisps. It’s a sponsored review, meaning we get paid for eating crisps and giving our honest opinion on them (seriously) and they arrived in the company of a cute monkey too which was a bonus.

Competition: Win MaterniCare Pre and Post Natal Cream (now available in Boots)
What feels like a lifetime ago (but was actually only last May), I reviewed MaterniCare Pre and Post Natal Nourishing Cream. I was 25 weeks pregnant with E at the time and my compact bump was starting to grow. I loved it, and still use it now even though I gave birth eight months ago! You can read my full review here.

Baby led weaning – ideas for first foods and how to combine it with spoon feeding
The last few weeks have flown by. E has been turning into a chunky little girl – you know, the kind of baby with podgy legs that you just want to chew on and a tummy that needs to have raspberries blown on it. She wants to roll around everywhere and when she sets her sights on something she squeals in frustration if she can’t get to it and put it in her mouth straight away. Baby proofing comes with a whole new range of problems this time round – I caught the boys trying to give her a pine cone to hold the other day, which I grabbed just before it met her lips!

Potty training twins: Success at last!
Wohoo – potty training is finally complete! (I talked about potty training phase one , phase two, potty training regression and potty training again last year). We tried T1 for a second time over half term and it was a success almost straight away. I’ve been hanging off blogging about it in case saying it out loud ruined everything, but I’m now confident the hard bit is over and I can start to enjoy my two big boys being out of nappies! Competition: WIN Disney Baby Collection Winnie the Pooh goodies
We’re huge fans of Disney in our house, so when I was asked whether I’d like to give away an absolutely adorable Winnie the Pooh pyjama, soft toy & bib set I thought it was a perfect fit for my blog.

Finding out you’re expecting twins at the 12 week scan!
I’ve been wondering whether to publish the boys’ birth story seeing as you all know how E arrived in the world, but before I do that I thought it was important to share the day we had our 12 week scan and were blown away with the news that we were expecting twins…I wrote this post over a year ago for a blog hop, but think it’s about time I added it to my own blog.
Valentine’s cake review from Baker Days
Ok, I know I’m careful to only accept reviews that are relevant to my readers, but it was Valentine’s Day last week and everyone loves a bit of romance, right?! And anyway, who doesn’t like cake?! In fact, I suspect that parents of multiples like cake as much, if not more, than the average person because they need the sugar rush to get them through the day!
So when Baker Days invited me to review one of their delicious cakes-by-post I’d been persuaded even before I looked at their website. They provide personalised cakes for special occasions, and for the Valentine’s cake I was able to email them a photograph and a message to add to my chosen cake. I decided to have ‘Happy Valentine’s Day Love from Karen x’ on mine, along with one of our wedding pictures. Continue reading

Wheels of fortune – tips for choosing a family car for twins or triplets
Are you expecting twins or triplets? Then you might be thinking about how you’re all going to fit into your car. When I was pregnant with my boys we spent hours deciding which double buggy to buy, but we didn’t think about whether our Rover was going to be big enough for four of us. It was only when our buggy arrived and wouldn’t fit in the boot that we started to think about changing it. Husband had to remove some of the boot, take out his speakers and the parcel shelf, and it ended up *just* squeezing in, but it meant nothing else could fit in there. Within a couple of months we realised it was time to upgrade. Continue reading
